About MTNMM
Welcome to Mountain Medicine! I started this journey with one goal: to help women reconnect — with nature and with themselves. Nature saved my life, offering me clarity, peace, and strength when I needed it most. Now, it’s my mission to share that gift with others. Through guided backpacking trips, I teach the art of outdoor exploration, helping you build the confidence to venture out on your own. Whether you’re a beginner or simply seeking a deeper connection to the wilderness, I’m here to guide you every step of the way. Let’s slow down , breathe deeply, and discover the transformative power of nature together.
Rocky Mountain National Park (RMNP) has been inspiring awe since it was established in 1915, but it’s history stretches back thousands of years. Long before becoming a national park, the land was home to the Ute and Arapaho tribes, who revered the mountains, living in harmony with the land. The Rocky Mountains were sacred, providing sustenance, shelter, and spiritual meaning for thousands of years. Located in northern Colorado, RMNP now preserves over 265,000 acres of alpine wilderness, offering pristine trails, towering peaks, and abundant wildlife. The park is famous for it’s iconic wildlife, including elk, bighorn sheep, black bears, and the elusive mountain lion, which roam its forest and meadows.
Inspired by this reverence, Mountain Medicine offers shamanic based backpacking tours in RMNP, helping women reconnect with nature, themselves and the wisdom carried by these ancient landscapes. Here, the mountains become more than a backdrop— they are teachers, healers, and a sanctuary for transformation, inviting you to walk in rhythm with the earth and rediscover the sacredness of being alive.
